What a lovely little place! We are Americans passing through BC on the way to Alaska and have experienced nothing but kindness and hospitality on our way. This cafe was no exception. The atmosphere is cozy, the owner and employees were all kind and accommodating, and the food was DELICIOUS. FYI you’re getting an iced drink, they use coffee ice cubes so that your drink doesn’t get watered down. My son and I split the jerk chicken quesadilla, we got a bowl of soup, dad got a Cuban sandwich (yum!) kid 2 got a breakfast skillet that he devoured, and kid 3 got a grilled cheese that made her exceedingly happy. I’m so happy we stopped here on the way to our next place! If the owner sees this, thanks again for the wonderful place you clearly tend with love and care

Friendly service, great food, drinks, and baked goods. You go up to the counter to order. It is quite quick to receive your food. Orders comes with your choice of soup, garden salad, or pan fries. The pan fries are delicious. Nice little gem of a cafe in New Hazelton.

Anything you order will be delicious, and prices are reasonable. Clam chowder YES. Cuban sandwich panini style DOUBLE YES. Breakfast scramble 11 out of 10. If you order an iced drink, they make the ice with coffee so it doesn’t get watered down. Locals frequent this place, and with good reason. So many smiles, waves, and warm greetings. If we weren’t passing through I’d try to come every day! There’s a “Brio-style” train table for kids to play on, a changing table in the washroom, a book shelf full of good reads, a couple cozy chairs, open kitchen, delightful staff and owner, beautiful views out the windows, happy plants in every corner, and gorgeous artwork on the walls. Fresh locally made muffins, too!

Charming little Cafe that I always try to stop at when driving that stretch of highway. Food is delicious and coffee is great. Today I had an unfortunately memorable stop - I accidentally left my wallet in the shop. After realizing an hour or so down the highway, I called and they were holding it safe for me. It was much appreciated!

They make my favourite lattes, so delish, I usually buy two so I have another drink for later as I live two hours away. I ALWAYS stop in while passing by as this business is locally owned and the staff are amazing, making me want to support their cafe. Smoothies are also really good. The cafe is cute and lovely to sit and chat. Thank you for being so great!

Loved this place very much. The food was very good (especially loved the cinnamon muffin!). Very welcoming people and the atmosphere with the open kitchen was very nice too.

I had a lovely breakfast at Zelda’s during a short stay in New Hazelton. The bagel sandwich, coffee and green smoothie were delicious. The cafe has a cozy atmosphere with a kids play area, books, and games. The food was ready quickly and the owners were very friendly! I’d definitely go back!

Big city quality in a small town setting. Ordered the taco salad, it was up quick, even though it was busy. The salad fresh and great tasting. Coffee is goof quality. They have vegetarian options. Staff were friendly. Good value for the prices. The view from the front of the cafe is scenic. Definitely the first choice for Hazelton.
